My name is Brittnie, I started out playing around in Photoshop back 10 years ago! (Ya I feel old) I used to love to take pictures just so that I could edit them! I mean what fun right?! Then about 5 years ago I started taking pictures for another company. Loved all the experience and gained lots of knowledge working for someone else.
Than I became a Navy spouse....This is when the magic started to happen. I up and moved all the way across the country, from the small town of Sandpoint Idaho, population 8,000 people, to a city with upwards of a quarter of a million people!! Culture shock for sure!
One evening I was watching my oldest son playing and pretending he was an amazing WWE wrestler, and this is the exact moment everything clicked!!! I had tried to take pictures of him for YEARS! He "hates to smile" so he always looked so angry in pictures. I wanted something that would capture his true, genuine smile. So what if I took pictures of him pretending he is doing something he loves! Capture him being HIM!
This is when Be[You]tiful Photography was born! Now I knew what I wanted to take pictures of! And being able to give people the gift of a memory is a feeling that can not be described. Capturing the true personality of my clients is my number one goal!
This starts by taking the time to get to know each client individually. Long talks over messenger, phone, coffee...what ever it takes. The deeper I know my client the better I can capture who they are, and what they want! From start to finish my clients become my friends! And growing relationships like that is the most rewarding part of my job!
